Project brief

Project overview

Audix is a semi-autonomous mobile robot designed to automate shelf inspections in structured warehouses. It uses a four-wheel mecanum drive to navigate predefined aisle routes and a motorized three-stage scissor lift to position a camera at multiple shelf heights. A computer-vision system compares detected products with the expected shelf arrangement and sends timestamped discrepancy reports, live telemetry, and alerts to a Wi-Fi-connected operator interface. Its modular ROS 2 navigation, ESP32 PID motor-control, vision, lift, GUI, and custom PCB subsystems can be reused or adapted for other indoor inspection and mobile-robot applications.
